Slider Awning Topper for 2020 Winnebago 2100BH

Question:

I am considering adding an awning to the slide-out on my 2020 Winnebago 2100BH travel trailer. The width from one edge of the T-molding to the other is 82” the roof is 76” wide. The room only extends out 30”and is in the center of the 22’ trailer. There is 6” distance between the roof and the bottom of the gutter. There is no awning rail below the gutter. What topper would you recommend for my trailer? I can provide photos if needed. It appears that installation of the awning brackets is straight forward, but I did not see any videos showing installation of the gutter rail. Can you send me any links that would show that installation? My gutter is 183.5” long. Would a gutter rail be included? Does it require removal of the existing gutter?

Since the tee molding along the top of your slider is 6'-10" wide, we will go up to the next size; 7'-1" foot. This is the Lippert # LCV000165062 in black, which matches your other awning and trim. (Optionally White is Available.) This kit includes all the hardware that you will need. Two ladders and a friend really make the installtion easier.

I have attached a link to the installation of a differnt size topper, but it shows in detail each step of the insallation

You will want TRC # 362BT-18x1-50 Butyl Tape to install behind the awning rail.

IMPORTANT: The awning rail installs 3" above the tee molding. When your slide is fully inside will you have enough room left between the top of the tee and the bottom of the gutter?
ALTERNATIVE: Does your existing stock gutter rail have a awning rail built into it? Many new models are made that way. If your gutter rail has an awning rail built into it, I would NOT use the rail included in the package.
