Can You Tow A Trailer With Class I Trailer Hitch Receiver On Honda Fit?

Hello, I’m just wondering if I am able to tow a 4 x 8 enclosed trailer from U-Haul with this hitch on my Honda fit. Thank you. Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11406 which is confirmed to fit the 2015 - 2020 Honda Fit has a tongue weight rating of 200lbs and a trailer weight rating of 2000lbs, though you will need to check the owner's manual of your vehicle and use the lower rating between the vehicle and hitch.
You can use a Class I hitch for light duty towing, but I am not sure what the GVWR of the trailer you mentioned is so I recommend reaching out to Uhaul to find what ratings your vehicle needs to tow that specific trailer.
Lastly to tow a trailer you will need a vehicle wiring harness # 118767 which will give you the 4-way connector you need to power the lights on the trailer and is confirmed to fit the 2015-2020 Fit, a ball mount # C45521, 1-7/8" hitch ball # A-80 or 2" hitch ball # A-82 to match the coupler of the trailer, and hitch pin and clip # F-4.
