Observation Camera For Pre-Wired 2021 Coachmen Spirit Travel Trailer
Question:
Ciao, Thank you for taking my questions. #1 : Am purchasing the above trailer (2021 Coachmen Spirit) which is advertised prewired but having difficulty getting exact data from dealer or Coachman. and B : In a very basic sense is pre-wired meaning there is an electrical supply to the camera a plug in for particular brand of camera. And if this the case could one use almost any brand camera by rewiring and not using the plug? Thank you for your time. stay safe, stay healthy

Ok, I can help you out here, and your 2021 Coachmen Spirit travel trailer is pre-wired for a Furrion back-up camera system, the Vision S. Pre-wired means there is a mount for a specific brand of camera - in this case the Furrion - that will allow you to just plug it right in.
That said, you do not have to use the Furrion, you can use any system if you want to run the wiring and mount the camera yourself, but I do recommend the Furrion system as this will be much simpler and it is a high-quality option. There are two different systems for you to choose from, with the only difference being the screen size.
- 5" Screen: Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System # FOS05TASF
- 4.3" Screen: Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System # FOS43TASF
These cameras have a shaded design so glare in the sun won't be a problem, and also has infrared so you can use it without issue at night. The camera is also waterproof so no matter the weather it will give you a durable, effective way to observe what is happening behind you. I have added some links below to video reviews for you to check out as well if you like.
