Diode Lighting Kit for 2019 Chevy Suburban & Does Battery Need to be Disconnected

Hello, Want to flat tow 2019 suburban Looking at diodes for lights Tow master says separate acc power and battery disconnect? Chevy mentions keeping in acc mode Do I disconnect battery? What do I buy and how’s it hooked up?

Let's start with the lighting kit for your 2019 Chevy Suburban, and there are diode wiring kits available. The best option due to its reliability is going to be from Roadmaster, the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles - 7-Wire to 6-Wire Straight Cord # RM-152-98146-7.
In regards to your battery, it does need to be disconnected in order to flat tow your Suburban, so what you will need is the Roadmaster Automatic Battery Disconnect with Switch # RM-766.
What this does is allow you to very easily disconnect the battery with the flip of a switch, which is going to be much simpler so you can flat tow your Suburban. There are a number of steps required to hooking it up, but what you will do is mount the solenoid of the Battery Disconnect in the engine compartment, attach the battery cables, and wire the switch.
