Which Cotter Pin Is Needed for BK3-100 and BK3-200 for 6000-lbs and 7000-lbs Axles

Question:

Hello, Ive got a couple trailers, one with 6K axles 25580 and 15123 bearings the other with 7K axles 25580 and 14125 bearings. Id like a bag of cotter pins so I dont have to straighten the used ones out. You guys should offer an annual maintenance kit, 4 seals and cotter pins. What size cotter pins do these axles take and do you guys offer a bag of 10, 25 etc.? Thanks

The size of the cotter pin is going to vary depending on the spindle of each axle.

The cotter pin used in the bearing kits we have available for the axle/spindle that you mentioned is the Cotter Pin - 1/8" Thick x 1-3/4" Long # 165649, and while those are not sold in bulk, you can purchase as many as you'd like to keep on hand via the product page.

In regards to the maintenance kits, it's not exactly what you've mentioned but we do offer bearing kits for each of these axles that come with bearings, seals, races and a cotter pin. Those kits do vary by the grease seal you'll need but they would either be the Bearing Kit, 14125A/ 25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal # BK3-200 or Bearing Kit, 14125A/25580 Bearings, GS-2125DL Seal # BK3-210 for your 7k axle and the Bearing Kit, 15123/ 25580 Bearings, 10-36 Seal # BK3-100 for the 6k axle.

I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to check out, as well.
