Demco Kar Kaddy SS Replacement Light and Warranty Use
Question:
I purchase a Demco Kar Kaddy SS last fall and was stopped last week for a tail light being out. Upon checking out the system I determined that the LED light in the tail light assembly is bad. I was wondering would this be something under warranty or not either way I need a replacement assembly that fits. Would I go thru your company or have to contact Demco direct? Please advise.

Demco's warranty states "Your Demco Kar Kaddy is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of one year after date of purchase by the original (first) retail owner, or until it is resold or transferred by the original owner. Hubs used on the KK370SB are warranted for a period of three years after the date of purchase by the original (first) retail owner or until it’s resold or transferred by the original owner. Tires and lights are not included in this warranty." So, your LED light is not covered in the warranty.
To replace the light of your Kar Kaddy, part # DM9713045, you can use the Replacement Fender Lighting Repair Kit for Demco KarKaddy SS Tow Dolly, part # DM67VR. This is a direct replacement, so you can be sure it will work. I've linked to a video review of this light below.
