We have an AandE 25ft. awning on a park model camper. Can we convert it to a motorized awning?

Yes.To convert your Dometic (A&E) manual awning to a power unit, you can use the Solera 12V Conversion Kit in Black # LC434723 or White # LC434724 if you have a manual crank system. All of the necessary hardware is included.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.

The Solera switch part #LC285500 that you referenced was designed to fit all Solera power awnings so it would work well to give you an inside switch to extend and retract. This would not affect the batteries ability to charge either.
