I have another option for you, but the trailer hitch receiver off a 2018 Ford F-350 will not fit on your 2012 Ford F-350 due to changes between the two trucks.

For a trailer hitch receiver confirmed to fit your 2012 Ford F-350 I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C15410 which has a maximum trailer weight rating of 17000lbs and a maximum tongue weight rating of 2550lbs making it a great heavy duty option for your truck. You will want to look in your vehicles owner's manual to confirm the maximum trailer weight rating of your F-350 and use the lower rating between the vehicle and the trailer hitch receiver.
