Roof Platform Rack or Roof Basket Compatible With Rhino-Rack HD Crossbars

Hi, I’m trying to find a roof basket or platform that is compatible with my rhino-rack heavy duty crossbars. Which ones will mount to those hd crossbars?

We can get you set up with either a roof basket or a roof platform that is compatible with your Rhino-Rack HD crossbars, and let's go ahead and start with the roof baskets, for which there are a pair of options from Curt:
- 41-1/2" Long x 37" Wide Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # C18115
- 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket # C18115-117
These Curt cargo baskets have mounting brackets that are large enough to accommodate the Rhino-Rack HD bars, though keep in mind they do require your bars to be spaced either 15", 22", or 29" apart on center. The other option you have is to use a mounting kit for the Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform:
- Pioneer Platform Mounting Kit for Rhino-Rack Heavy-Duty Crossbars # RR43105
This will attach to the bottom of a Pioneer Platform, and you will need one kit per crossbar. So if you have a standard roof rack set up with two crossbars you will need two of these. I have added a link below to a video review showing how they work. You can use one of the following Pioneer Platforms, depending on the size you need:
- 84" Long x 56" Wide Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Roof Tray # RR75TB
- 60" Long x 49" Wide Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Roof Tray # RR35TB
- 52" Long x 49" Wide Rhino-Rack Pioneer Platform Roof Tray # RR32TB
You will want to make sure the width and length are right for your crossbar set up to make sure the platform doesn't go back further than it should or especially wider than your crossbars.
