Wiring Connections on a Vehicle 7-Way Trailer Connector
Question:
My 7way got damaged and I have new one I need to wire up. I tested so i know which wire is which. where do they go?

Expert Reply:
You've actually already done the hard part since you know which wire is which. Now you just connect them where they go. I've attached a picture of the back of a vehicle's 7-way connector, like part # PK12-707E, which might help. The connections you need to make are:
1 O'clock - Running Lights
3 O'clock - Right Turn/Stop
5 O'clock - Ground
7 O'clock - Electric Brakes
9 O'clock - Left Turn/Stop
11 O'clock - 12 Volt
