The Bolt-On Stainless Steel Spring Latch, # SL716SS, is sold in quantities of 1. The pin diameter is actually 7/16 inches. I have linked a video review for you.

We have another latch option. Weld-on latch # SL58W has a 5/8 inch diameter pin. I have linked a video review for it as well.

The Bolt-On Stainless Steel Spring Latch #SL716SS has an aluminum base and stainless steel pin. It will be difficult to weld aluminum and you don't want to weld it to steel. I recommend instead using the Weld-On Zinc Spring Latch #SL58W.
