To help secure the kayaks on the roof rack I recommend using the etrailer J-style Kayak Carriers # e98878; you'll need one of them for each kayak and each carrier comes with tie downs and cam buckle straps to help with securing the boats. These carriers can fold up when not in use, and they install easily on a variety of different crossbar shapes, including the # RRVA150B-2.
