Correct Black Slide-Out Awning for 154-1/2 Inch Flange to Flange Measurement

Question:

Question about Solera Slide Awning. I have a Keystone Outback 266RB with a slide out that is 154-1/2 flange to flange. I am trying to determine if LCV000168110 is the correct topper but the overhang will be 4.5 on each side. The LCV000168109 is a closer fit but the overhang would only be 1.5 instead of the 2.5 overhang as suggested. Can you please tell me if the additional overhang would cause a problem or which would be your recommendation. Thank you for your reply

Thanks for that measurement as it was very helpful, and the correct slide-out awning for your 154-1/2 inch flange-to-flange slide out is indeed the second part you mentioned, the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - Black # LCV000168109.

It is recommended to have some overhang, but 2-1/2 inches is not necessary; the overhang suggestion was really only to ensure people get the correct size to cover their entire slide-out. The larger awning you mentioned will be too long to fit properly, so you definitely want to go with the Solera RV Slide-Out Awning - Black # LCV000168109, which is designed to fit slide-outs with flange-to-flange measurements of 152" - 157" wide.

I have added a link below to a video review of this awning for you to check out as well if you'd like.
