OEM Brake Controller Compatible Electric Over Hydraulic Trailer Brake Actuator-2018 Ford Raptor

Question:

Hi, I have a 2018 Ford f150 Raptor with a built in factory brake controller. Im looking to convert my 3 axle boat trailer to hydraulic over electric disc brake system, and am looking for an actuator which will be compatible with my truck. I dont see it listed with Dexter or Hydrastrar or Brake Rite. Please advise. Thanks

According to my research, the current Ford OEM brake controllers are compatible with Electric Over Hydraulic braking systems, so you could simply use a EOH actuator like the HydraStar # HS381-8067 which is specifically designed for boat trailers.

The Titan BrakeRite # T4813102 you'd looked at would also work well, but our install crew here prefer the HydraStar as they've found that they're more reliable and durable over time.

If you'd care to reply with the capacity of your axles, I'd be happy to recommend disc brakes for you.
