Will the Curt Hitch C99FR for a 2020 Toyota Highlander Work With Weight Distribution System
Question:
I am looking to buy this hitch which seems to be the best fit for my 2020 Toyota Highlander. The description does not state if it is rated to be used with a weight distribution kit or not. Please advise if I should purchase this one along with the weight distribution kit I plan to also purchase, thank you.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C99FR is a great option for a 2020 Toyota Highlander. It has a hidden crosstube design which is great for aesthetics but it also means you forgo some capacity and the ability to use a weight distribution system. If you are willing to forgo aesthetics then you can use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C45CR which is rated higher and can be used with a weight distribution system.
