Ten Foot 30 Amp Cord and Power Cord Management

Question:

I hate to ask a really stupid question, but if the 30 AMP 15 ft. cord referenced here useable as a standalone power cord for my Class B RV? It says its an extension cord but it seems it could work as my regular cord when I need a short run. I have a 30 AMP 120 V receptacle next to where I park my camper van and my 25 ft cord is fine. But it just mostly sits on the ground. And if this does work, do you happen to have a ten foot version? Thanks. Mighty Cord 15 RV Power Cord Extension w/ Handle - 120V - 30 Amp Item # A10-3015EH

The Mighty Cord # A10-3015EH is a 15 foot extension cord for the 25 foot cord you already have. I recall you have a ProMaster 3500 and it most likely has twist-lock end at the RV. The shortest cable with twist lock is the 25' one that you already have.

If just managing the long cord is good then consider the Stromberg # HC-75 Cord Caddy. You can pull out what you need and kick the spool under your Van.

If you must have a 10' cord, you will have to order replacement ends and cord by the foot to custom make your own. If you are not confident about wiring these up and making clean and tight connections, then you should probably have a handyman fix that up for you.
