How Much Distance is Needed for the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box to Clear a Back Hatch

Hi, Im concerned that the Thule motion xt 22 titan will not fit/ clear the tailgate on my 2019 4runner w factory bars. Can you please confirm that it will before I make my purchase? Thanks

Expert Reply:
In order for the Thule Motion XT Rooftop Cargo Box, part # TH629907, to clear the hatch of your vehicle, there needs to be at least 55" between the front crossbar and the line where the hatch and roof meet.
I was unable to find the dimensions of the factory bars on a 2019 Toyota 4Runner, but you can measure these to see if you it meets the 55" minimum.
