Recommended Industry Standard Rails To Install B&W Fifth Wheel Hitch On 2020 Ford F-250 Short Bed
Question:
I have an older rail mounted 5th wheel hitch I want to install in my 2020 F250 CCSB with no factory hitch. Its an BandW manual slide, I have a photo if needed. I also need the pins and clips to secure the hitch to the base. What rails will work best for this?

If your B&W Fifth Wheel Hitch is like the B&W Patriot 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3270 that uses industry standard rails (ISR) there are two rail options I recommend.
Based on your description it doesn't sound like your truck has the OEM Prep Package. If that is the case I recommend the B&W Custom Installation Kit w/ Base Rails for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWRVK2402 which is designed for your 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab Short Bed and you can see it being installed on a 2020 Ford F-250 in the included video.
If your 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty Crew Cab Short Bed does in fact have the OEM Prep Package I recommend the Adapter Rails for Curt 5th Wheel Hitch - Ford and Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # C88KR which will install into the OEM Prep Package and give you the ISR needed for you to install your B&W 5th Wheel Hitch.
Since the standard replacement pins and clips to secure your hitch to the above bed rails is 1/2" diameter x 3-1/4" long you can simply use the Reese Fifth Wheel Hitch Replacement Pins and Clips # 6014
