I would be more than happy to help you find the correct parts to add electric brakes to you 6.5x16 Landscape trailer but you will need to find out a few measurements of your spindles first.

Different weight capacity axles will require different bearings, hubs, and brake components.

To determine which components you will need you will need to take a few measurements.

First you will need to know what inner and outer bearings your trailer uses, as well as which grease seal. The easiest way to do this is pull one hub and look for the numbers stamped on each bearing. If your bearings are worn and you cannot read the bearing numbers you will need to use a set of digital calipers like # PTW80157 to accurately measure your spindle in a few spots shown in the included diagram to determine the correct bearings and grease seal.

You will also need to know if your axle has a brake mounting flange already installed, or if you will need to order one and have it professionally installed by an axle shop. The brake mounting flange is right behind the spindle and could have 4, or 5 bolt holes depending on the weight capacity of your axle. I included a picture of a brake mounting flange for you to take a look at.

If you can provide the correct inner and outer bearings, grease seals for your spindles, and if your axles have the brake mounting flange or not, I would be happy to confirm the parts you will need to add electric brakes to your trailer.

I included a helpful article that goes over adding electric brakes to a trailer for you to take a look at.

Thank you for the bearing information! To add trailer brakes to you 6.5x16 dual axle landscape trailer you will need Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA for each axle. These brakes require a 4 bolt mounting flange, so if your axles do not have the flange you will need # 4-35 for each side of each axle. The flange must be welded perfectly level so an axle shop will need to do the installation. To mount the brakes to the axle you will need Mounting Hardware # BRKH10B for each axle. Next are hubs and drums. Your bearing combination has a few different bolt pattern options, but the most common is the 5 on 4-1/2 which is found on the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K. This hub and drum will include the inner bearing # L68149, Outer bearing L44649, grease seal, and all of the races, grease caps, and lug nuts to complete the installation. This is a quantity of one, so you will need four. To check that you wheels are use the 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern I recommend measuring them using the included article. If you find you have a different bolt pattern let me know, and I will recommend a different hub and drum. Since your trailer didn't originally have trailer brakes you will need to upgrade the wiring to give you the 7-way connector needed for your vehicle to actuate the brakes. I recommend the etrailer Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit # e99011. You will also need to run a wire from the electric brakes to the junction box using # 10-1-1 which is sold by the foot, and heat shrink butt connectors # DW05745-10 to protect the connections for the elements. Now that your trailer has a 7-way connector you will need to make sure your tow vehicle has a 7-way connector and a trailer brake controller. If you need either of these let me know the Year/Make/Model of your tow vehicle and I would be happy to make a recommendation. I included videos to all of the products mentioned and a few help articles to help you with the conversion for you to take a look at.
