Adding 7-Way Connector in Bed of 2015 Silverado with Existing Wiring Harness

Question:

2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 with Fifth wheel Wiring harness. Am mounting a plug in bed wall. There is a wiring harness under the truck near rear bumper for this use. There is not plug on the end of harness, just wires and a tag telling me what color wires are for what function. Do you sell just the end I need to plug into bed mount plug. thanks Matt

We have a couple of 7-Way trailer connectors that will work for you to add a connector in the bed of your truck using the blunt-cut end harness already under your truck.

If the existing wiring harness is long enough to reach up to the inside of the bed, you can use a connector like the Pollak Black Plastic, 7-Pole, RV Blade-Style Trailer Socket, Vehicle End # PK12-707E that will install directly onto the blunt-cut ends of the wiring harness.

If the wiring harness on our truck does not reach up to the bed, then you can use a connector like the Bargman 7-Way Super Sealed Connector,7' Cable, Car End # 50-87-007. This connector comes with 7 feet of cable to make it easy to reach the wires at the back of your truck.
