Recommended Roof Rack For Roof Top Tent On 2020 Ford Transit Connect Long Wheelbase

I have a 2020 Transit Connect extended wheel base and just bought a roof nest falcon xl that weighs 160 lbs. What would be the best rack to mount that tent?

For your 2020 Ford Transit Connect Long Wheelbase I recommend the Thule Roof Rack System that uses Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars - Aluminum - Black - 53" Long # TH711420, Thule Rapid Podium Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH460R, and Fit Kit # THKIT3032. This system will give you 53" of useable crossbar space to support your roof top tent and a 165lb weight capacity. The roof top tents we offer like the Yakima Skyrise # Y07437 require a minimum crossbar weight capacity of 165lbs, so as long as your Falcon XL has the same requirements this roof rack will work great.
Since we do not carry Roofnest roof top tents you will need to refer to the instruction manual that came with your Falcon XL or contact Roofnest to find out the minimum crossbar requirements.
You can also add the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450400 to secure the roof rack to your roof for additional security.
