You are correct that aluminum and steel don't work well together. There is a chemical reaction cause galvanic corrosion that takes place when there is not proper precaution taken. You will want to check with your trailer manufacturer as most aluminum frames do not allow for weight distribution systems like the Curt TruTrack Weight Distribution System w/ Sway Control - Trunnion - 10,000 lbs GTW, 1,000 lbs TW # C17500 you referenced based on the strength of the frame and not the galvanic corrosion issue. If your trailer is confirmed to be compatible with weight distribution, the system itself has a powder coat finish that will protect against that corrosion. The hardware is Zinc plated so it also won't have any issue.
If you find your trailer is not able to use weight distribution for stability and sway control, you can use suspension enhancement on your vehicle and then electronic sway control on your trailer using a system like the Tuson Electronic Sway Control System for Electric Trailer Brakes - 1 to 4 Axles # 335TSC-1000. This will utilize your electric trailer brakes to assist with sway control as needed.
