Recommended Hitch for my 2009 Blue Bird Micro Bus on a 2009 Ford E-450 Chassis

I want class 4 or 5 hitch receiver for ford e450 blue bird micro bus. the web vehicle match does not work. The frame rails are about 1 inch above bumper. The rails are about 42 outside to outside. I could remeasure with hole to hole centers and hole pattern. It would be helpful if I knew what to measure. Thank you.

I have a good solution but there are no custom fit trailer hitches available to match your 2009 E-450 Chassis. Instead the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C13701 is what I recommend.

While it does not carry a Class 4 or 5 classification it is the highest rated option I have for your chassis. It offers you a 500 lb. tongue weight rating and a 5,000 lb. gross trailer weight rating with out weight distribution. With weight distribution it offers a 600 lb. TW and 6,000 lb. GTW rating.

I spoke to my contact at Curt and he informed me that from the center of the mounting holes that are on the mounting bracket on top of the hitch opening to the end of the opening measures 1-1/2 inches.

I can say that Curt doesn't consider the hitch a fit, but if you look at the provided photo, you can see the mounting hole spacing on the hitch and compare it to the frame member of your truck.
