Tow bars aren't vehicle specific, so you can uses just about any tow bar on any vehicle that's capable of being flat towed, as long as the tow bar and base plates are compatible.

In order to flat tow your 2020 Chevy Equinox, you'll need the tow bar, safety cables, base plates, wiring, a supplemental braking system and possibly a high/low adapter if the height of the base plates has a greater than 3 inch height difference compared to the height of the hitch on the motorhome.

For base plates, I'd recommend the # BX1730 from Blue Ox. If you no longer have the safety cables that were originally included with your Aventa II tow bar, I'd recommend using # RM-643. For a wiring harness, I'd recommend going with # RM-15267 if you have a Premier model or # RM26FR if it's not a Premier model.

For a supplemental braking system, the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR would work great for you. This system doesn't require an expensive and time-consuming installation and can easily be moved to a different vehicle in the future if need be. You'll also need a # RM-9332 12-V outlet kit to power the brake system while the vehicle is being towed. Because the battery can be discharged while it is being towed, I'd also recommend using a # RM-156-25 charge line kit. If the 12-volt feed on the motorhome's 7-way isn't active, you'll also need the charge line kit for the motorhome, part # RM-156-75.

When installed, the # BX1730 base plate will sit about 16 inches above the ground. If this is +/- 3 inch height difference when compared to the hitch height on the motorhome, you'll need a high/low adapter to bring the height difference within that range.
