Here at etrailer, we take our own pictures and measurements of products that arrive so that you can see them exactly like how they'd arrive in a box. The Malone 2 Dual Purpose Hitch Receiver Item # MPG544 is the same product as the SKU MPG544 on the Malone website except their pictures have a single hitch pin hole on the top receiver and ours have two. I double-checked our warehouse and the ones in stock that we ship match the etrailer pictures and dimensions. If anything changes in the shipments from Malone, we will update the product page to match it.
Other than the two hitch pin hole design difference, the adapter still has the same function and capacity. What might be confusing about the dimensions is that we measure from the hitch pin hole while they give the overall dimensions. We measure this way so that when you plan to put accessories like an etrailer cargo carrier # e98874, you know exactly where the hitch adapter and the cargo carrier are going to sit in relation to your vehicle.
