Can Roadmaster Comfort Ride be Used on Axles on Top of Leaf Springs of 8k Triple Axle Trailer
Question:
Roadmaster Trailer Leaf Spring Suspension - RM-2470-3. I have a 2019 Kaufman EZ4 trailer with 3 8k axles. Can this kit be used on a trailer with axles mounted on top of the leaf spring?

Expert Reply:
Yes, you can absolutely use the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Triple Axle Trailers - 8,000-lb Axle # RM-2470-3 on a trailer with the axles mounted on top of the leaf springs.
When installing these on a trailer with the leaf springs on top of the axle, you will just bolt the extension plate to the tie plate’s mounting flange using the middle holes of the extension plate, as noted in the linked instructions for the Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers # RM-2470-3.
These are going to be a fantastic upgrade for your trailer to greatly reduce the vibration and bounce and give you a far more enjoyable ride.
