The inside dimensions of the 24x27 TorkLift Lock and Load Maximum Security Cargo Tray part # TLA7752 are 27-3/4" long x 24" wide and a Champion 2,500 Watt Inverter Generator is 21" long x 13.7" wide so yes, you will be able to fit the generator and will still have room to spare for some other items.
