Demco Recon 5th Wheel Hitch with Gooseneck Adapter Compatibility with Plastic Bed Liner
Question:
I just purchased this hitch. I had a ford factory plastic bed liner. Do I have to cut out a square for this hitch to sit flat with the bed? Or is it okay to sit on top of the plastic bed liner? Please let me know. Thanks

The Demco Recon Gooseneck-to-5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Adapter - Single Jaw - 21,000 lbs # DM8550045 will not work with a bedliner. The manufacturer states "Do NOT place hitch on top of a plastic bedliner. Hitch must have direct contact with the truck bed."
