How To Prevent Front And Rear End Porpoise On My 2020 Chevrolet Silverado

Question:

I have a 2020 Chevy Silverado with the 6 cyl diesel engine. I tow a travel trailer that is 5200lb base weight ... probably 6000lb loaded. Also, I am using a load equalizing hitch, but the front end will porpoise a bit on bumps. Looking at Timbren TGMRCK15S or SumoSprings SS45FR. There is a huge weight capacity difference between these two 7100 lb. With my set up which do you recommend? Or do you recommend another product?

Suspension enhancement may help you, but first I would make sure that your Weight Distribution system is rated and set up correctly. If it is, then you can go with some sort of suspension enhancement. Both the Timbren # TGMRCK15S and the SumoSprings # SS45FR are rated enough for your rig. The biggest comparison of the Sumos and Timbrens is how stiff and rigid they are when unloaded. Timbreens are stiff and affect your truck when it's unloaded a lot more than the SumoSprings. If this were me, I would go with the SumoSprings because it will give me a better ride quality when not under load.

I've included some videos for you to check out!
