Yes, the Curt Class V Trailer Hitch, # C15323, will fit a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 LS with the factory bumper. I attached an installation video we made on a 2003 Silverado 1500 for you to check out.
I'm sure you are aware of this already, but I'm sort of obligated to mention to check your truck's towing capacity. Even though this trailer hitch can tow up to 16,000 lbs, your truck is only capable of towing between 4,600 lbs and 10,000 lbs depending on how it is equipped. You can verify the towing capacity in your owners manual under the Towing a Trailer section. You will need to know your engine size, transmission type and axle ratio to find your truck's specific capacity.
If you will be towing near the top of your truck's towing capacity, I'd also recommend adding suspension enhancement to your truck like the Timbren Rubber Springs, # TGMRCK15S (For Light Duty models) or # TGMRCK25S (for Heavy Duty models). We use these springs on our truck and I wouldn't recommend anything different on a work truck. You don't have to mess with them and they are way less expensive than air bags.
If you need an entire tow package for your truck, I recommend the following parts:
Ball Mount - # C45900
Brake Controller - # TK63VR and harness # 3025-P
Wiring Harness - # C55774
