Operation Of A Furrion RV Propane - Triple Burner - Cooktop

Question:

I want to make sure the stove has shut down if flame goes out on burner. Secondly using on a boat, what pressure should be in the line feeding the stove. 10 inches of water column from the low pressure regulator on the tank okay? Looks like you have second regulator on the stove. I have stove on order, hasn’t shipped yet .

On the Furrion RV Cooktop - Propane - Triple Burner - Stainless Steel Item # FGH4ZSASS, if the flame is turned off on the stove, the stove is shut down. If the flame goes out and the stove hasn't been turned off then it will still emit gas to that burner. The knob must be turned off to stop the gas. Keep in mind this is going to be like any other gas appliance. You are still going to have gas in the line until you turn the gas off at the tank and release the gas from the line. The stove itself has a regulator on it so it will only allow the appropriate amount of gas to the stove which is established from the manufacturer.
