Choosing Between the Fixed and Slider B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500 SB

I am glad to have found your website, your prices and expertise impress me. My tow vehicle is a 2020 GMC 2500HD AT4 with the new OEM puck system. The bed floor is 37inch from the ground, the bed rails are 58inch from the ground, and the gooseneck hole is 46inch from the rear window. Bed is 82.25inch long. I have three questions. Should I get the BandW 3775 slider or the BandW 3710 fixed 5th wheel hitch. Would like to be able to lift the hitch out of the truck by myself, but do not want to bust my rear window. Where can I go online to find the following 5th wheel trailer measurements? Distance from ground to kingpin plate, ground to bottom of trailer, and distance from kingpin to outside edges of trailer. I will probably buy a used 5th wheel trailer and need to get the right height hitch so trailer and truck is level and has at least 6inch of clearance above trucks bed rail, and front of trailer clears trucks rear window. My trailers of interest are Northwood Fox Mountain 235RLS, Jayco Eagle HT 27.5RLTS and 28.5RSTS, and Keystone Cougar 1/2 Ton 29RKS and 24RDS. Thank You,

The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch is the best option on the market for a 2020 GMC Sierra 2500. In regards to using the fixed part # BWRVK3710 vs the slider part # BWRVK3775, this is a question we get often but not one we can give a definitive answer on unfortunately because there are simply too many variables. I will however say that with the new GM puck system, more owner's with short beds are able to use the fixed hitch and make full 90 degree turns since the pucks were moved further to the rear. I have attached below a review which sounds like pretty much the same situation you are in. The only way to get a definitive yes/no answer would be to measure both the truck and trailer. That said, I am not aware of any online resources which list these needed measurements for the trailer.
If I were you, I would go with the slider since it would have you covered either way or if you switch trailers. It is the more versatile option.
