I have a Roadmaster Sterling tow bar. I tow a Honda Fit, which is extremely low. Will this work for me?

To lower your hitch height when flat towing your Honda Fit , I recommend using the Roadmaster High-Low Adapter - 2" Hitches - 10-1/4" Rise/Drop - 10K GTW, 400 lbs TW # RM-048-10, which will give you the closest rise/drop to what you need.

The Patriot adjustable hitch opening part # PH54FR is not designed to be used for flat-towing.

The reason is pretty simple. The Blue Ox #BX88132 is specifically designed for flat towing and has been rigorously tested for that purpose. The Patriot Hitch #PH54FR adjustable drop receiver adapter has NOT been tested for flat towing a vehicle,…

There is not a maximum capacity for the Adjustable Drop Hitch Receiver Adapter #PH54FR. It has a 7,000 lb towing capacity and 700 lb tongue weight capacity no matter what. We have verified this with Patriot Hitches.
