Yakima Longhaul RV Bike Rack for 2016 Jayco Jay Flight 24RBS.
Question:
I own a 2016 Jayco JayFlight 24 RBS. I called Jayco and they said my RV bumper is rated for 150 lbs. Would I be able to Put a Yakima Longhaul Hanging bike rack on the bumper? My other question is, is it beneficial in anyway to mount the Bumper receiver on top of the bumper opposed to under the bumper? Thank you so much for any light you can shed on this matter!

I'd mount the receiver (make sure it's rated for the 32 lb weight of the LongHaul plus the combined weight of the bikes) to the top of the bumper for greater ground clearance, as long as the manufacturer of the receiver has no prohibitions about doing so.
If you haven't selected a receiver yet, I'd recommend the # e38HR which is compatible with 4x4 tube bumpers found on many RV's, and can be mounted either above or below the bumper.
The Yakima # Y02476 LongHaul is specifically designed to work on towed vehicles like your travel trailer. As long as the combined weight of the bikes plus the 32 lb weight of the LongHaul comes in at or under that 150 lb bumper capacity, the rack will work perfectly for you.
