Will the RoadActive Suspension Work With Timbrens On a 2015 Chevy Silverado

Question:

I own a 2015 Chev/High Country 1500 w/ the 6.2 engine. I have a fifth wheel which weighs 9600lbs dry and installed the Timbren Rear Suspensioninch to help reduce sag which it does. I am still experiencing some sway and bounce when towing and was wondering if this product along with the items I already have will help with this or is a air bag suspension a better option. My truck is rated to tow 11,800 lbs just for info.

Yes, the RoadActive Suspension (RAS) Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit part # RAS54FR which is a fit for a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 will help to reduce sag, sway, and bouncing while towing. It can be used in conjunction with the Timbrens as well if needed. The Timbrens are great to reduce sag but they only engage when the threshold of the suspension is reached so there will still be some sag no matter what. They can also be rather bouncy. The RAS engage immediately so they will hep with the shortcomings of the Timbrens.

In regards to air bags like Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs part # AL57204, these are great but will require the Timbrens to be removed and unlike the above options require maintenance.
