Is Install of Dahon Mariner D8 Folding Bike # 33492-4-05 Difficult
Question:
Called Dahon and they said in order for Warranty to take effective, final assembly of the new bike Mariner D8 must be done by a bike shop. Is this necessary? I’m not a mechanic, but after watching YouTube, I think I can do the final steps? Screw on pedal? Lube chain? Pump air into tires? Slide in seat and handle bars? Anything else needed? What type or brand of chain lube do you recommend? Thank you!

The install of the Dahon Mariner D8 # 33492-4-05 is not overly difficult at all. You'd be able to handle it no problem. What you described is basically all of the easy steps required. I'd go with a chain wax for chain lube as the lube lasts longer and isn't as messy either.
