Comparing 500 Lb and 1,000 Lb Front SumoSprings for a 2013 Mercedes Benz Sprinter
Question:
would the front SSF-106-47 @1,000 lbs eliminate even more body sway without creating a ride that was too harsh

In regards to the SumoSprings Solo Custom Helper Springs part # SSF-106-47 for 1,000 lbs and part # SSF-106-40 for 500 lbs for a 2013 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, the difference is the hardness of the spring rather than length. Therefore, they will both engage at the same time but the amount of give for example will be different. The softer 500 lb spring will have more give therefore offers a smoother ride but also does not provide as much body roll reduction as the harder 1,000 lb version. That said, I really don't think the decrease in ride quality would really even be noticeable from the 500 lb to the 1,000 lb model so that is what I recommend.
