Universal Installation Kit For Trailer Brake Controller Compatibility with Curt Echo Wireless Unit

I bought this kit to wire my existing 4 way to upgrade to 7 pin plug on my 2015 Ford Expedition. I also purchased the Curt echo wireless brake controller. Will this kit still allow me to use the wireless BC?

Yes. The Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat - 10 Gauge Wires # ETBC7 will allow you to use the Curt Echo Wireless Brake Controller # C51180. The duplex wire will simply need one wire connected to the battery with the 40 amp in-line circuit breaker (you can alternatively use the 30 amp breaker if desired). You don't need to connect the other wire in the duplex case to anything for that application as the brake controller output won't be used at the 7-way.
You can follow the video instructions in the # ETBC7L kit which is similar to confirm the installation.
