Is Drilling Required During Installation of the Hopkins Easy Lift Tailgate Lift Assist

Is drilling required on all installations of this torsion spring? Looking maining for my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500. Thanks.

Yes. The installation of the Hopkins Easy Lift # 74211 does require drilling of 2 holes during installation. There are no custom fit tailgate assist's available for your 2007 Ram, so you would need to use a universal option like the Hopkins.
