Should New Bearings Be Packed Prior To Instillation If using Bearing Buddies?

I am installing new bearings with my buddy bearings. Do I have to pack them first or will the buddy bearing get enough grease ti them. Thanks

I recommended removing all of the old grease and packing the new bearings prior installing them. When you install the Bearing Buddy Bearing Protectors - Model 2441SS - Stainless Steel (Pair) Item # BB2441SS you can add more grease with a gun to help make sure everything is fully packed. You want to make sure you use the same grease as some different greases cannot be mixed.
