For your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee I recommend using the 180 Solid-Tow Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w Chrome Balls - 2" Hitch - 6" Drop, 7" Rise # DTSTBM6600 it is just a little bit shorter and will allow you to haul many trailers with different coupler heights. The 8" drop is going to be just a little too long and could pose an issue with ground clearance.
