The Rock Tamers are only compatible with 2x2 inch ball mounts, not the 2-1/2x2-1/2 used by most Class V receivers. If you do have the 2-1/2x2-1/2 inch receiver, you would need to use a reducer sleeve like part # 58102 along with a 2x2 inch ballmount. The ballmount will need to be of sufficient length to clear the rear bumper of your truck.

The Rock Tamers bracket that slides over the ball mount is just under an inch in width, which is why at least an inch of clearance is needed between the face of the receiver and the back of the ball mount face, as shown in the diagram I have provided for you.

To determine which ballmount would work best, you will need to measure from your hitch pin hole rearward until the rear bumper is cleared. If you would reply with this measurement plus the rise or drop of ballmount you need, I would be happy to make a specific recommendation.

If your F-250 has a 2" hitch receiver, the Rock Tamers # ERT00108 is the correct model. You just need to make sure that there's at least an inch of exposed shank on your ball mount (when it's inserted into the hitch) for the unit to mount.
