Hello, Will this trailer hitch fit a 2017 Honda CRV EXL with lift gate assist? Thanks

The hitch is indeed a fit for your vehicle. We've had several reports that the sensor was almost completely unaffected and others that said it won't work at all once the hitch was installed, and some who have said that the feature isn't affected if you wave your foot a few inches to either side of the receiver tube.
Honda does offer a kit available through the dealer as part # 08U59-TLA-100A that will allow the sensor to be relocated.
