The Softride Hitch Adapter for 2 inch Receivers - 4 inch Rise, part # SR25748, is not designed for carrying any other accessory except the Softride bike racks. When you use an adapter, it will reduce the tongue weight capacity of your hitch by 50 percent. We do offer another adapter, the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount with Receiver, part # D210. The unit has a 7500 lb towing and 750 lb tongue weight capacity, while the receiver portion has a 350 lb tongue weight capacity. As long as the weight of the scooter and the lift or carrier it is on is less than 350 lbs, this item should work great for you.
