Will the etrailer.com Extra Long Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock Fit a 2005 Toyota Tacoma 2 Inch Hitch
Question:
I have a reese professional lock, the pin length is 3 1/4, I have a 2inch receiver. When the pin is pushed through the receiver and hitch, there is only about 5/16inch left, barely enough room for the bearings to engage the lock, and therefore it wont lock. Would this pin solve my problem e98881 and give me the room needed to lock it?

Based on the measurements you have provided if you use Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock # e98881 you will be able to lock it. The inside pin length on this pin is 3-5/8 inches, 3/8 of an inch longer than the pin you are using now. That should allow the pin to lock properly. I have included a link to a video review of this lock for you.
