Recommended Anti-Sway Bars for 2021 Thor Axis 25.6 on Ford E-450 Chassis
Question:
I just purchased my first RV. Ive put about 600 miles on it. I had to drive up then down a mountain pass. Its obvious to me that a sway bars are needed. I had to slow down to 60mph coming down the pass to keep it from understeering. I found your recommendations for the 2018 model. Im curious if there is reason to believe the 2021 model would have a different model of sway bar. I am also confused by why a ..rear sway bar....vs. a front sway bar is usually the first to add. Maybe I am misinterpreting the issue. My issue is not wind resistance from side winds, but instead understeering on a rear-wheel-drive vehicle.

For your 2021 Thor Axis on Ford E450 Chassis, you will want the Roadmaster Rear Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-147 and the Roadmaster Front Anti-Sway Bar # RM-1139-176.
The rear anti-sway bar is the biggest impact because the enhanced stability greatly impacts the body roll and the rear axle positioning requires more stabilizing overall. The front anti-sway is the next thing we recommend adding as it helps keep the front end more stable which helps with steering as well but this is the second thing to add because there are more connections between the frame near the front axle.
