Using The Curt Multipurpose Mount # D210 With The Swagman Current On A 2020 Volvo XC60
Question:
Id like to use the Curt Multipurpose mount D210 with the Swagman Current 2 platform rack for two e-bikes while towing a small camping trailer. The tongue on the trailer is 32inch to the ball. Will this work? I worry about enough clearance between the bikes and the trailer when making turns etc. If it works, will the Swagman rack tilt enough for the hatch on my Volvo XC60 to clear it? Thanks,

The Swagman Current # S64678 will have a measurement from the hitch pin to the farthest part of the rack when folded down of 26 inches. It will not make contact when driving straight but you will have to be careful backing up because it will be easier to jack knife your trailer into the rack. The Current had plenty of clearance when using a normal hitch on a 2019 Volvo XC40. With the rack now being father away from your vehicle, I don't see there being any hatch clearance issues on your 2020 Volvo XC60.
Be sure when using the Curt Multipurpose Mount # D210 you need to make sure you will not exceed the max tongue weight of 750lbs.
