Will the Swagman Current Work on my 2018 Subaru Outback
Question:
Eager to buy the swagman current hitch bike rack. Its just that im wondering if the tray will hit my bumper if in a folded position. Coz i think there is like a 5inches clearance from the receiver when folded. Have you tried putting it on a subaru outback 2018? I have a class 3 hitch 2in receiver that i purchased and had it installed at uhaul. Thank you..

The Swagman Current 2 Bike Platform Rack part # S64678 has a distance from the center of the pin hole to the closest part of the rack when in the folded position is 5 3/4". By design when installed there is no movement or play in the rack meaning if you have 5" of room it will clear the back bumper by 3/4" which will work well.
We have not had a chance yet to test fit it on a 2018 Subaru Outback but if you confirm the center of your pin hole is in fact 5" from the furthest out portion of your bumper you're in good shape.
