How To Confirm Fit of HydraStar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit for 24 Trailers HS496-252

Question:

Hello, I have some questions regarding the Kodiak Tandem Boat Trailer Brake Line Kit 24-TA-BLKIT. 1. The Kit appears to be a generic kit that will probably fit many trailer models. Mine is an EZ Loader Adjustable Trailer, 22-24 ft., 5200 lb. capacity with twin axles. Will this Kodiak kit fit this trailer? 2. My trailers stock brake lines are severely corroded non-stainless steel tubing. The disc brake calipers are very new Kodiak KodaGuard, rated at 3,500 lbs. that I purchased from etrailer.com. The existing brake line configuration involves a 21ft. run of tubing inside the frame, two, 7 ft. sections crossing each axle, and it involves 2 T-fittings and two unions which join sections of tubing. Flexible lines link the rigid lines to the disc brake calipers. The Kodiak kit appears to include various lengths of tubing, only 1 T-fitting, 1 cross-fitting, and no unions. Are the parts included in the Kit adequate to effectively replace the stock brake tubing design on my trailer?

The HydraStar Hydraulic Brake Line Kit part # HS496-252 is a universal kit that is designed for tandem axle trailers who's length is no more than 24'. If your trailer meets both of these criteria then it should work just fine. In regards to kit components, it comes with everything needed so you won't have to worry about needing any extra unions etc. I have installed this kit myself and the rubber hoses make things very easy.
