Comparison Between Optronics LED Clearance Light # MCL65RB and # MCL65CRB
Question:
I am replacing 7 rear red marker lights on my 6 x 12 trailer. I have researched the clear lens MCL65CRB VS the red lens MCL65RD, do you have any pros / cons to one vs the other. Thanks.

We have found that the # MCL65RB is a bit brighter. The white LEDs seem to penetrate the red lens better than the red LEDs through the clear lens of the # MCL65CRB.
You can see this pretty clearly in the product demonstration videos I have linked to.
There is a black # A65PB or chrome finish # A67CB mounting bracket available. The mounting bracket features a power wire, and would provide a ground connection via its connection to the trailer frame. If the lamp is not being directly mounted to the trailer frame, a ground jumper will need to be ran from the mounting bolt to the trailer frame.
